Like all of you I’m a bit bored at times spending too much time at home and to get through this we all get the munchies, so why not snack on something healthy. Dips are one of my favorite snack foods and they are crowd pleasing at any party. My chipotle almond dip is a creamy, healthy dairy free option and is so versatile you can use it as a sandwich spread or for wraps. So when you are watching your marathon shows on t.v. try this recipe out or when we get the chance to party again try serving this instead of hummus or ranch with your veggies for a surprising and tasteful change.

Chipotle Almond Dip
This creamy & healthy dip has a nutty and cheesy flavor and tastes so good that you'll forget that it's vegan
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup roasted unsalted almonds
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup sunflower oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp Bragg liquid aminos
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 3 tbsp chipotle chili in adobo
Instructions
-
Place the almonds in a bowl and cover with water, cover and place in the refrigerator overnight, this softens them so they blend nice and creamy
-
Drain the almonds and add to a food processor along with the other ingredients and process until smooth, stopping to scrape sides of bowl as needed and to adjust salt and or almond milk if it's too thick for your liking.
-
Let chill for two hours before serving. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers and/or veggies
-
Makes 2 cups

I love learning about the ingredients I use in cooking and I found some great info over at Popsugar You Will Never Look at jalapenos the Same Way After Learning This Fact, did you know that jalapenos and chipotle are the same pepper?
Thanks you are a life saver!!!. I became addicted to Bitchin Chipolte Dip and cant find it in store anymore. I substituted red pepper packet from pizza joint for the chipolte chili in adobo since I didnt have. Also made some other substitutions along the way for what I had on hand. Thanks so much for sharing again.
thank you! with this recipe you can make it as spicy as you want and I agree, I love that Bitchin sauce too, mine comes close 🙂
Thank you this dip is fabulous. I think it’s better than the store bought.
thank you so much!…and I’m sure you get more for your money
Perfect recipe! Tastes just like the real thing!
I’m so glad you like it 🙂
This sauce is so good! Even my super picky 13 year old son loves it so much!
Hi Mindi, I’m glad you and your family enjoyed the recipe…picky eaters are hard to please so I’m glad your son loved it, thanks!
Hello! I have chipotle powder, would you still put 3 Tbsp in? Can’t wait to try this!
Hi Anna, I would not use 3 Tbsp of chipotle powder, it’s way too strong, I would start off with 2 teaspoons and then taste it before adding more. Thanks for visiting and have a great day
